Richard Evans, Director, is a well-qualified and experienced adviser holding the respected Chartered Financial Planner status. Richard has over 25 years’ experience of providing financial advice. He has a degree in Economics from Aberdeen University, and holds the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and Advanced Financial Planning Certificate, including the Advanced Pensions, Taxation and Trusts, and Financial Planning papers.

Richard enjoys following Deveronvale FC locally, going to the gym, golfing in the summer months, getting away for ski holidays in the winter, as well as spending time with his family.

Neil Stewart, Financial Planner and Head of our Banchory Office, has been with us since 2017. After studying Mathematics at the University of St Andrews, he ran personal business ventures before beginning his career in financial services. Neil is a fully qualified financial adviser, holding the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.

Outside of work, Neil enjoys spending time with his young family and exploring the countryside. He’s a keen sportsman, regularly playing golf and football, and has recently taken up coaching his daughter’s football team. He also has a passion for good food, wine, and travel—both in the UK and abroad.

Ewen Grant, Financial Planner, has been with the firm since January 2021. He is a fully qualified financial adviser, holding the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. Ewen holds a degree in International Business Management from Robert Gordon University, which included a period of study at the University of Barcelona. Before entering financial services, he worked in the logistics sector and the golf industry.

Originally from farming stock, Ewen now lives in Mintlaw and primarily supports clients across the Banff & Buchan area. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, following local football and keeping fit.
