At Structured Financial Planning, we believe in supporting the clubs, teams, individuals and events that make a positive contribution to our local communities.
Our sponsorships cover a variety of sports and age groups, from grassroots football and local running to golf, karting and international age-group triathlon. Deveronvale Football Club is the main focus of our sporting sponsorship, complemented by our support for several other worthwhile local organisations and competitors.
Deveronvale Football Club
Our most significant sporting partnership is with Deveronvale Football Club, where Structured Financial Planning is proud to be the club’s main shirt sponsor.
Founded in 1938 and based at Princess Royal Park in Banff, Deveronvale competes in the Scottish Highland Football League. The club has deep roots in the area and brings together players, coaches, volunteers, supporters and local businesses.
Deveronvale’s importance extends beyond results on the pitch. As a long-established community club, it provides a focal point for local football and depends upon the commitment of many people working behind the scenes.
Having our name on the Deveronvale shirt is something we are genuinely proud of. It allows us to support a club that represents Banff and the surrounding area with great pride, both on and off the pitch.
Banchory Community Football Club – 2018 Girls
We are delighted to support the 2018 Girls squad at Banchory Community Football Club.
Grassroots football gives young players the opportunity to develop their skills, confidence and teamwork while, most importantly, enjoying the game. It also relies on the considerable time and commitment given by volunteer coaches, parents and other supporters.
Our connection with the club is also a personal one, with Neil and his children involved in the Banchory Community FC set-up. We are pleased to play a small part in helping the girls enjoy their football and develop together as a team.
Duff House Royal Golf Club
We are pleased to support Duff House Royal Golf Club by sponsoring the par 3 sixth hole. DHRGC is one of Banff’s best-known sporting institutions.
The club’s highly regarded parkland course was designed by the legendary Dr Alister MacKenzie and enjoys an outstanding setting alongside the River Deveron and historic Duff House.
As well as attracting visiting golfers to the area, Duff House Royal provides an important sporting and social hub for its members and the wider community. Our connection with the club is particularly close to home, as Richard is also a member. We are delighted to support such a respected local club.
Ben Rushton – GB Age-Group Triathlete
We are proud to support Aberchirder triathlete Ben Rushton as he pursues his ambitions in age-group competition.
Ben represents Great Britain at both World and European level and has produced some excellent international performances, including fourth place in Coimbra and a top-15 finish in Vichy, France.
Competing internationally in swimming, cycling and running requires an enormous amount of training, discipline and personal commitment. We are delighted to support Ben and to follow his continuing triathlon journey.
Grampian Kart Club
We are proud to support Grampian Kart Club at Boyndie Drome.
Run on a not-for-profit basis by a dedicated group of volunteers, the club promotes owner-driver karting in the North East of Scotland. It provides opportunities for competitors across a wide range of ages and experience levels while helping young drivers develop their abilities and interest in motorsport.
The enthusiasm of its members and volunteers makes Grampian Kart Club an important part of the local sporting community, and we are pleased to be associated with it.
Deveron Harriers Festival of Running
We have regularly sponsored the half marathon forming part of the Deveron Harriers Festival of Running.
The festival brings together experienced club runners, recreational runners, families, volunteers and supporters for an enjoyable community event. Its success is made possible by the hard work of Deveron Harriers and the many marshals and volunteers who give their time to organise and support the races.
We are pleased to contribute to an event that encourages participation, promotes physical activity and brings so many people together.
